Back to the Bloor

Before Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema was a central hub for documentary lovers and filmmakers it was the Madison Picture Palace, the Midtown, the Capri, and of course, for you nostalgic types, the Bloor. Back to the Bloor revisits the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema's most recent previous incarnation, when from 1980-2010 it was known as the Bloor Cinema.

Revel in the rich theatrical history of Toronto's beloved repertory cinema with multi-month holdover hits, cult and midnight movie madness, and mainstay classics.

Tickets are $7.50 for all films in this series. Please bring a donation of cash or non-perishable food item to support Spadina-Fort York Community Care.

Spadina-Fort York Community Care was founded in 2020 as a direct response to the overwhelming rise in homelessness and food insecurity. They serve over 5,000 people every week through direct outreach to people experiencing homelessness, grocery delivery to housebound seniors and individuals, and multiple food bank locations.
